nothing ventured...

I
"Youth is wasted on the young", George Bernard Shaw.
I don't think so.
In fact, I think age is wasted on the old.
Something to remind me of being around the age of 16.   I was always "somebody's baby".
Belonging to someone is sometimes wasted on the owner.  Being free is never a waste.

  1. So funny you bring this up.

I've been thinking about that saying "Youth is wasted on the young" a lot recently because I saw so many gorgeous young people while in Europe, having such a great time and looking so great that I thought to myself 'I used to be one of them, and I wish to be one of them again!'

I didnt know that George Bernard Shaw orignally said this, I thought Jack Pfifer did, so thanks for the reference. What I also figured out while in Europe was that all of these beautiful people were there on their parent's bill, and I'm there on my own, with my own beautiful children. Long story short, Im happy with where I am, being able to bring my kids to these amasing places, and show my "young" how lucky they are.

    Thanks for the reminder.

    JF.
